Research Interests:
Joe Medley is interested in raptor ecology and demography and in developing non-invasive methods to monitor species of conservation concern. Joe is currently developing habitat suitability models for great gray owls in the Sierra Nevada and is using a non-invasive genetic approach to estimate population size and survival for this subspecies.
