Research Interests:

My interests lie in behavioral ecology and conservation of North American raptors, specifically focusing on falcons. I have worked at the California Raptor Center for four years now, which initially sparked my love of raptors. I quickly became enamored with American Kestrels (Falco sparverius) and why their populations have been declining. I am partnering with surrounding farmers in order to install American Kestrel nest boxes for study. I am also passionate about community involvement and outreach, incorporating local Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, nature clubs, and elementary schools in my project while also presenting to Davis citizens about wildlife conservation and human impact.
